From Concept to Reality – The Making of the Kirtan Stage Screen
The journey of this beautiful Kirtan Stage Screen began with a detailed design and drawing stage. Our team worked closely with the Gurdwara Sahib Prabandhak Committee to understand their vision. Every design element, from the flowing floral patterns to the sacred text on the top, was meticulously planned to reflect the rich heritage of Sikh architecture.

Stage 1: Wooden Die Crafting
Once the design was finalized, the next step was creating a highly detailed wooden die. Master craftsmen at Rana Handicrafts International skillfully carved the intricate floral motifs and lettering into the wooden die, ensuring precision and artistic excellence. This die serves as the base mold for casting the screen.

Stage 2: Casting in First-Quality Silicon Fiber
Using the wooden die, we then proceeded to cast the screen in premium Silicon Fiber—a material known for its durability, lightweight properties, and flawless finish. The Silicon Fiber ensures that the screen is strong yet easy to maintain, making it ideal for long-term installation inside the Gurdwara Sahib.

Stage 3: Rubbing and Surface Finishing
After casting, the entire screen underwent a rigorous rubbing and surface preparation process. This stage is crucial to remove any imperfections and to ensure that the final painted finish adheres smoothly to the surface, giving the screen a luxurious appearance.

Stage 4: Painting and Final Detailing
For the final look, the screen was expertly painted in a rich golden colour. Special attention was given to highlight the sacred inscription "Gurdwara Sahib Patshahi Dasvin Nada Sahib Panchkula - Haryana Sikh Gurdwara Prabandhak Committee". The embossed text and intricate patterns were brought to life with a stunning combination of blue coloured stencil work and golden highlights, making it visually captivating.

Stage 5: Installation at Nada Sahib Gurdwara
Once completed, the screen was carefully transported and installed at the Nada Sahib Gurdwara. The installation was done with precision to ensure that it perfectly aligned with the stage setup.

Final Outcome: A Centrepiece of Devotion
Today, this beautiful Kirtan Stage Screen stands as a centrepiece during Kirtan sessions at Nada Sahib. The Ragis performing Shabad Kirtan in front of this majestic backdrop create a serene and spiritual atmosphere that resonates with the sangat.
