Welcome to one of our most comprehensive visual showcases yet—a special website post that opens the doors to the heart of our workshop and creative process. For the first time, we are proud to present a curated collection of over 60 rare and previously unseen photographs that capture the intricate stages of production, the dedication of our artisans, and the breathtaking beauty of our finished works.

This post gives you a unique behind-the-scenes look into the fabrication of various products we are manufacturing and supplying to Gurdwara Sahibs across India and around the world. You will find photos featuring unfinished and finished pieces including 1ft domes in pristine white, 3ft diameter golden domes gleaming with brilliance, and 2ft domes mounted on precision-engineered MS frame structures.

Among the highlights are images of a majestic 4ft Khanda destined for the entry gate of a Gurdwara Sahib, and a corner Palki Sahib made of first-quality silicon fiber in radiant golden colour being affixed on a rooftop by our skilled technician. You will also see a compact and elegant 3ft x 3ft Palki Sahib, perfectly suited for Darshani Deodis or entry gates.

Beautiful White Coloured Palki Sahib for Darbar Sahib (Diwan Hall) prepared for Gurdwara Sahib in Australia and a 12ft Diameter FRP Gurdwara Gumbad prepared for a Gurdwara Sahib in South Africa. Both of the Following pictures are enhanced using Google's Gemini AI to make them look more elegant.

Our craftsmanship is reaching global corners—from Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, and Chennai, to the spiritual corridors of USA, Canada, UK, South Africa, Australia, New Zealand, and Malaysia. The post features the ongoing production of an awe-inspiring 20ft diameter dome for a Gurdwara Sahib in Malaysia, alongside an installed 9ft dome in Pune with a 2ft dome positioned right in front—a combination that adds architectural grace and depth.

One of the images shows our founder, Uday Veer Singh, standing beside a 3ft x 3ft Palki Sahib for a Gurdwara Sahib entry gate—adding a personal connection to our work. You’ll also see another dome combination installed in Nangal with four 2ft dia side domes, and a fully-installed 12ft dome on a custom MS frame structure built specifically for a Gurdwara Sahib. Both MS and stainless-steel structures for domes are visible throughout.

We’ve also included rare glimpses of a special 14ft conical-shaped dome made for a Gurdwara Sahib in Australia, and photos showing how our domes are painted black from inside—a detail that enhances their longevity and resistance to harsh weather. You'll see ring-type and base structures for 5ft and 9ft domes, custom-made pillars, and packaged consignments ready for dispatch to international destinations.

Among the exclusive highlights is a set of Pidi Sahib units for Palki Sahibs used to hold Prashad and Chaur Sahib Ji, ivory and golden Palki Sahibs installed across various Gurdwaras, and the top domes of Palki Sahibs being made for towns such as Mukerian, Balta, Bathinda, Jalandhar, Dasuya, Ludhiana, Nikodar, and Amritsar.

Also featured are unpainted 1ft domes in the process of being crafted for a Gurdwara Sahib in New Zealand, and rare shots of a complete layout of our products with Uday Veer Singh standing beside them for scale and reference.

An iconic moment captured is the installation of a Khalsa sculpture in Muktsar, followed by photos of large MS pipes being bent for a 14ft dome meant for the UK. You'll also find stainless steel Golaks that we manufacture on request, and a collection of pillars, Palki Sahib boxes, and 3ft domes being finalized for shipping.

One particularly fascinating image shows all 32 mini domes (gumtis) of 8-inch diameter, specially prepared for a PK5 Palki Sahib—demonstrating the level of detail and commitment we bring to every project.

While we ensure the highest standards of quality, it's important to note that our products come without warranties, as they are often exposed to natural elements like high winds.

We invite you to explore this post, which captures not just the scope of what we create, but the passion and precision behind each masterpiece. Whether you're a Gurdwara committee member, architect, or devotee, this gallery is sure to inspire with its rich visuals and spiritual craftsmanship.

Our products stand out in both craftsmanship and durability because we use only first-quality silicon fiber reinforced with mild steel (MS) frame structures. This premium material not only ensures a fine, smooth finish but also delivers long-lasting strength, making our domes and Palki Sahibs highly suitable for various climates and architectural needs. The silicon fiber we use is weather-resistant, lightweight yet robust, and meticulously layered to achieve both visual appeal and structural stability. Combined with our years of experience, attention to detail, and skilled artisanship, our offerings are trusted by Gurdwara Sahibs across India and around the globe.

Majestic 12ft Dome and Corner Palki Sahibs at Gurdwara Sahib in Dasuya (Hoshiarpur)

Majestic 12ft Dome and Corner Palki Sahibs at Gurdwara Sahib in Dasuya (Hoshiarpur)

Dasuya (also known as Dasua), a serene town in the Hoshiarpur district of Punjab, India, recently witnessed the installation of a magnificent 12ft diameter dome along with four corner Palki Sahibs at its revered Gurdwara Sahib. This significant project was undertaken by us at Rana Handicrafts International, showcasing our unparalleled craftsmanship and dedication to serving the Sikh community worldwide.

Project Overview

The authorities of Gurdwara Sahib at Dasuya approached us with the vision of a dome that would not only be a spiritual centerpiece but also a visual landmark visible from across the town. They required a beautifully designed 12ft diameter MS-reinforced dome to be installed atop a towering 50ft high burj (minaret). Alongside this, they needed four intricately designed corner Palki Sahibs to complement the grandeur of the main dome.

Our team immediately rose to the challenge, combining traditional artistry with modern engineering to create a structure that is both aesthetically stunning and structurally robust.

Craftsmanship and Manufacturing

The dome was meticulously crafted by our highly skilled workers at our state-of-the-art workshop under the supervision of Uday Veer Singh Rana, Proprietor of Rana Handicrafts International. Key highlights of the dome’s construction include:

  • Material Excellence: A 7mm thick shell of high-quality silicon fiber was reinforced with an MS (mild steel) frame structure to ensure durability and resistance to extreme weather conditions.
  • Precision Design: The dome was crafted with exceptional attention to detail, ensuring its beauty and longevity.

In addition to the dome, four corner Palki Sahibs were manufactured in a bright golden finish, matching the dome’s regal appearance. These were carefully packed and delivered to the Gurdwara Sahib via a transport truck.

Installation Challenges and Triumphs

Once the dome was delivered to Dasuya, the installation posed a unique challenge. The narrow approach to the site made it difficult for a large crane to access the area. After significant effort and coordination, the crane was brought to the site, and the installation process began.

Before the dome’s installation, an Ardas (prayer) was conducted, and the local community gathered in large numbers to witness this historic moment. As a mark of respect and devotion, flowers were showered on the dome, symbolizing blessings and good faith.

With precision and teamwork, the dome was carefully lifted and secured atop the 50ft burj. Following this, the Kalash (finial) and Khanda (symbol of Sikh faith) were successfully installed. A final coat of golden paint was applied to enhance its brilliance, followed by a protective lacquer spray to ensure its shine for years to come.

We recommended the Gurdwara committee to repaint the dome every five years to maintain its pristine condition and ensure it lasts for decades.

A Spectacle for the Community

The installation was a moment of pride and joy for the people of Dasuya. A professional photographer and drone operator captured stunning visuals of the event, showcasing the intricate details and grandeur of the dome. The entire town celebrated as this architectural masterpiece took its place atop the burj, becoming a symbol of faith and unity.
